Celebrate National Great Outdoors Month On the Water!

The entire month of June is National Great Outdoors Month! National Great Outdoors month is all about escaping the indoors and getting back to nature. Here at the Lake of the Ozarks, we are very furniture to have so many great ways to celebrate! At BomBay Boat Rental Co, we think the best way to celebrate is to get out on the water! If you don't own a boat - no problem, you can rent one from our boat rental company at the Lake of the Ozarks! Find out a few fun ways to spend time on the water this June below.

Rent a Jetski

Get active by getting outside, enjoying the sunshine, and having a wildly good time, as well. It’s time to rent a Lake of the Ozarks jet ski from Bombay Boat Rental. Jet skis are so much fun and after you come back from your ride, you'll be ready to book another day out!

Aquatic Trail

This is a very unique trail that you need a boat to travel at the Lake of the Ozarks State Park. You will find buoys at various locations between the Grand Glaize Beach and the main campground marking the trail. Along this 9-mile-long trail, you will see woodlands, glades, streams, a logging chute, caves, geological structures, and much more. An Aquatic Trail guide is available at the park office, and a copy of this will greatly enhance your tour.

Visit State Parks by Water

The Lake of the Ozarks has two beautiful State Parks and both of them can access by boat! Not only are these State Parks gorgeous, but they are also completely free to visit!

Ha Ha Tonka State Park

If you dock your boat, there is a short trail next to an enchanting spring to explore. From there, the more adventurous (and in shape) visitors can climb the over 200-step staircase to hike more than 15 miles of trails that wind throughout the park. There are thousands of lush, wooded acres. The park also features historic stone castle ruins high atop the bluff. You will see sinkholes, natural bridges, caves, wildlife, and more.

Lake of the Ozarks State Park

The lake area boasts the largest state park in Missouri. It encompasses more than 17,400 acres of stunning natural beauty. There are twelve trails winding around this park within its thousands of wooded acres. It's a wonderful spot to get off the boat, stretch your legs, and maybe even have a picnic. Whether you spend a couple of hours or stay overnight, this is a gorgeous natural area to enjoy.

There you have it, several wonderful ways to enjoy National Great Outdoors this June on the water! If you don't own a boat and you'd still like to spend some time out on the water, we have the best boat rentals at the Lake of the Ozarks! Whether you want to rent a jet ski, pontoon, or a ski boat, we have you covered! For your convenience, we have 4 boat rental locations at the Lake of the Ozarks and we deliver too!
