Ha Ha Tonka State Park
Unless you are brand new to the lake area, you most likely have been told to pay this gorgeous park a visit. If you dock your boat, there is a short trail next to an enchanting spring to explore. From there, the more adventurous (and in shape) visitors can climb the over 200-step staircase to hike more than 15 miles of trails that wind throughout the park. There are thousands of lush, wooded acres. The park also features historic stone castle ruins high atop the bluff. You will see sinkholes, natural bridges, caves, wildlife, and more.Ha Ha Tonka offers courtesy docks for visitors to use at the 14.5 MM of the Big Niangua arm. Boaters love to hang out in the cove and play in the lake. Fisherman say that the cold spring water feeding into the lake makes it a great spot to fish.

Bridal Cave & Thunder Mountain Park
You will find America's most scenic cave tour at the 10.5 MM of the Big Niangua arm of the Lake of the Ozarks. The underground cave features a stalactite-adorned wedding chapel, Mystery Lake, and guided tours every hour filled with incredible tales about the cave.They have a lakeside picnic pavilion that overlooks the breathtaking Lake of the Ozarks. Thunder Mountain Park has a 3/4-mile trail. Along it you will find a 100-foot tall fire tower with a viewing platform at 80 feet. There is no fishing allowed at their dock, but you are welcome to feed the fish while you are there.

Lake of the Ozarks State Park
The lake area boasts the largest state park in Missouri. It encompasses more than 17,400 acres of stunning natural beauty. It features two public beaches, and the marinas near both have boat slips for rent if you want to park your boat overnight and camp. You can purchase supplies for boating and fishing, along with snacks and other useful items.There are twelve trails winding around this park within its thousands of wooded acres. Aquatic Trail
This is a very unique trail that you need a boat to travel at the Lake of the Ozarks State Park. You will find buoys at various locations between the Grand Glaize Beach and the main campground marking the trail. Along this 9-mile-long trail you will see woodlands, glades, streams, a logging chute, caves, geological structures, and much more. An Aquatic Trail guide is available at the park office, and a copy of this will greatly enhance your tour.
